If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Director of Project Resources and Small Projects, reporting directly to Head of Houston Operations to join our projects team based in Houston, Texas.
About the Job
We manage and integrate the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of large, complicated capital projects. As a leader in energy transition we engage our clients at early stages of EPC project development and as Director of Project Resources and Small Projects you will manage a a portfolio of projects as well as a team of industry leading Project Engineers and Project Engineering Managers on multi-discipline engineering activities for ethylene, LNG, renewables, and / or energy transition projects. You will have a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of small projects including:
- Feasibility studies
- Process Design Packages (PDPs)
- Supply of proprietary equipment
- Others
- Manage a team of project engineers, project engineering managers, and small project managers
- Recruit, develop and retain employees
- Performance evaluation of direct reports
- Coordinate with Learning and Development to create and deploy development programs for employees
- Development / refinement of procedures and work processes in concert with the Engineering and Process & Technology departments
- Manage department utilization
- Annual budget development and management of said budget
- Manage a portfolio of small projects including:

About You
We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Minimum twenty (20) years industry experience
- Engineering degree required
- Experience in ethylene, LNG, renewables, and / or energy transition projects
- Multi center execution / workshare experience required
- Experience in managing departments as well as EPC Projects
