About the Role
We have the ability to shape the direction of how we do things at BOK Financial. We are expected to contribute thought leadership to drive project delivery excellence and to develop strong, persistent relationships at all levels of the organization. This role has a team of people that want, need and appreciate coaching and development opportunities. In some organizations, PMOs are losing relevance. Here, we strategize, plan and deliver to stay relevant and in demand.
What You Can Expect
Every day, the Director will meet with staff, to ask and answer questions, review financials, make recommendations to bolster project delivery success, help resolve/anticipate project risks and issues, and provide coaching. The Director will meet with peers to discuss project interdependencies, tips and tricks using the PPM tool, resource challenges and personnel issues, and special projects assigned to the PMO Leadership Team. When engaging with IT Relationship Managers, they will review portfolio performance, identify and resolve resource constraints and work with the Relationship Manager to improve portfolio, program and project performance, and reporting. Relationship management with project stakeholders, will include actively listening and addressing concerns, removing barriers, and improving processes.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will take responsibility for the overall delivery, leadership, coordination, and management of a group of projects that comprise a program or portfolio.
- You will be responsible for the management of Project Managers assigned to projects in their given discipline.
- You will actively engage with senior leaders in both the lines of business and IT to help coordinate and advise on multi-year strategic roadmaps, budget planning, and program statuses.
- You will manage PMO processes and functions including project governance, methodology adherence, risk management, budget reporting, overall project delivery, and project key performance indicators for multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives.

Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business along with 10+ years of experience in IT or a related field. 3+ years of experience managing a high functioning team is required. Prior PMO leadership with proven extensive experience successfully delivering complex technology projects is a must and a PMP certification is strongly preferred. A Masters in Business Administration or other advanced degree is a plus.
