Description and Requirements
The Channel Programs Manager will be responsible for the communication, execution and performance tracking of our programs and incentives specific to the US and Canada.
This individual will be interfacing on a regular basis with our Account Executives as well as each partner to communicate business results and trends as it relates to their program earnings. The Channel Programs Manager has the responsibility to manage the route, including analyzing and interpreting data to tell a broader story of the business. Will be an advanced Excel user, proficient in pivots, formulas and have the ability to create or guide the creation of models, etc. This person is responsible to understand relevant trends including industry, economic, partner performance, and competitive in order to be able to 'read the tea leaves' and make strategic recommendations to channel sales and leadership teams. They should have insights into historical and current partner behaviors that have succeeded in achieving growth in both revenue and customer acquisition and have the capability to recommend strategic levers that can be pulled to generate sustainable growth and overcome mid-cycle performance hurdles.
Core responsibilities Include:• Be a subject matter expert in a particular route to market• Understand the go-to-market strategies of the partner set and be able to make strategic recommendations to generate growth• Various administrative tasks including but not limited to Partner Program Announcement Letters, reporting and cadence packages, program audits disputes• Compile Market Share analysis and Quarterly Business Review Reporting• Own the data integrity for a particular route to market and be able to provide insights to both sales and channel leadership• Cultivate and develop relationships with the partners and the Lenovo Sales Team in order to become the trusted SME• Own, promote and drive Lenovo Program awareness within the Lenovo Sales Team and partners• Lead the weekly cadences with partners and provide successes and identify gap/opportunities• Ensure sales has awareness, understanding and execution plan for the programs• Manage regular incentive programs and multiple program initiatives at each partner; orchestrate the program structure, track the progress, calculate the payments, report the results, handle end-to-end disputes• Work cross-functionally with Community, Financing, Sales, and Category Team to remove any program execution inhibitors
