Brand Transition Project Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Transition Project Manager to lead the transition of product packaging to the new embecta brand across Australia and New Zealand. In this critical role, you will oversee the development and execution of a seamless product transition
This role will oversee the transition of 30+ SKU’s across multiple channels including hospitals, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, pharmacies, and others.
Key responsibilities include ensuring minimal disruption to customers while driving the transition strategy, coordinating efforts across diverse channels, and delivering measurable outcomes within project timelines and budgets.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute customer-specific product transition strategies and plans across SEA channels, including Retail, Market Access, eCommerce, Government, distributors/wholesalers, and direct patient sampling.
- Oversee system updates across all distribution platforms (e.g., wholesalers, retailers, GPOs, LTC/Acute care, government systems).
- Lead team through development of demand plan for old and new SKUs, inventory management plan, returns plan and discontinuation plan including financial implications
- Ensure all market access contracts are updated to maintain patient coverage at the point of sale (POS).
- Drive transition plans for 100+ SKUs, ensuring seamless execution.
- Collaborate with Strategic Marketing to create and deliver tailored communication plans for customers, including toolkits, presentations, and messaging.
- Lead a cross-functional, multi-country project team to achieve launch objectives.
- Provide clear, objective leadership focused on project strategy and execution.
- Ensure detailed planning, team alignment, and individual accountability.
- Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and enforce accountability.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks to minimize launch disruptions.
- Align launch operations with organizational goals while ensuring disciplined execution.
- Organize and facilitate workstream meetings to drive project success.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field. An advanced degree would be beneficial in this role.
- Deep experience in project management or sales/marketing experience driving projects from initiation through closure.
- Demonstrated experience managing pre-launch commercial activities within pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or life science industry.
- Takes ownership for delivering project objectives and deliverables; Drives project execution to meet project schedule, cost, and quality.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical, medical device and/or life science industry.
- Experienced at stakeholder management
- Ability to influence and use negotiation skills to create a win-win strategy.
- Proactive in surfacing risks/issues and engages project team and stakeholder community to resolve issues and define risk mitigations
- Ability to lead effective meetings/workshops and manage discussions to achieve meeting objectives and timelines
- Experienced in helping the team plan and drive change.
- Consulting experience within in the pharmaceutical, medical device, OTC and/or life science industry and a particular focus on launch activities preferred
