The Project Support Officer will be tasked with actively supporting the delivery of Change, Delivery and Process (CDP) Portfolio to ensure the team can meet deadlines, deliver and report on projects. Reporting to the Portfolio Services Manager, you will be an integral part of the wider CDP teams working closely with Project Managers, Project team, vendors and other Business Units.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the shared mailbox and coordinate all incoming queries.
- Support the project financial processes including timesheets, accruals, invoicing and manage Month End Deliverables with Finance Team.
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding/extension of CDP resources and conduct induction sessions of new starters.
- Maintain and administer project and user data within CDP systems and tools.
- Support resource managers and project managers with workforce management reporting.
- Facilitate and manage project governance controls.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the CDP.
- Ad-hoc activities such as coordinating workshops, meetings, taking minutes as required.
- Assist with the establishment and maintenance of project and portfolio governance, with a strong focus on project financials, administration systems and controls.
- Act as a conduit between the business and project teams for all CDP Portfolio Services related queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Finance but not essential dependent on experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in PMO/Project support roles, general administration, and/or system application support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent administrative skills coupled with a basic understanding of project management principles.
- Exposure to SharePoint or any PPM tools would be a plus.
- Ability to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality.
- Proficiency in reporting and insights generation.
- Experience supporting or driving AI-related initiatives
- Capability to provide broader business insights and recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
- Advanced knowledge and regular use of Excel.
