Project/Staff Accountant

We specialize in commercial, multi-family, retail, high-tech, manufacturing and industrial building construction and
management. The majority of our work is performed in the eight Bay Area counties. We have an immediate career
opportunity for an experienced Project/Staff Accountant. The company is paying competitive salary commensurate
with experience, and provides great family medical, dental, vision and 401K plans.
General Job Duties

● Coordination and management of accounts payable function
● Prepare and post credit card and FastTrack allocations
● Review and validate vendor statements
● Other related and additional responsibilities as requested by corporate executives
Project Job Duties
● Process monthly Owner Billings along with required documentation
● Process approved subcontractor pay applications into accounting system
● Assist with obtaining lien waivers and other documents from subcontractors prior to release of payments
● Review certified payrolls and input data into appropriate systems (DIR, LCP Tracker, etc.)
● Interact with outside customers using outstanding customer service skills and diplomacy
● Issue and track Subcontracts
● Insurance Certificate review

Skills & Qualifications
● Associate degree in Accounting with 5 years of similar experience.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
● Strong organizational skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
● Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
● Effective verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
● Ability to work on assignments that are sensitive in nature while maintaining confidentiality of Company and
Departmental information

● GAAP: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
● CPA (Preferred)
