Project Specialist-Senior

Job Description:

1. Review, revise, and provide legal risk assessments for daily contracts and agreements, including but not limited to procurement, sales, technology, service, cooperation agreements, and NDAs.
2. Support the company’s compliance management activities, including compliance reviews, assessments, and follow-up on the implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
3. Assist in trade compliance matters, including import/export compliance, sanctions compliance, and export control compliance (where applicable), supporting global and cross-border business operations.
4. Support data compliance and information protection matters, including personal data protection, data security, and cross-border data transfer compliance.
5. Participate in legal and compliance awareness training activities, including preparation of training materials and support for compliance communications.
6. Assist in implementing confidentiality and data classification requirements, ensuring proper handling of contracts, business documents, and personal data.
7. Support legal and compliance-related document, contract, and record management, ensuring proper filing, retention, and compliance with internal and legal requirements.
8. Provide legal and compliance support in a global business context, with the ability to understand global business models, processes, and governance requirements.
9. Act as one of the communication points between the China organization and global legal teams, participating in cross-regional and cross-cultural legal collaboration.
10. Assist in coordinating with external legal counsel and internal global legal teams on legal and compliance matters.
11. Perform other legal and compliance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Law.
2. Passed the National Legal Professional Qualification Examination (PRC Bar) and holds a valid legal qualification certificate.
3. Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, compliance, or law firm practice.
4. Experience in technology-driven companies, high-tech enterprises, or multinational corporations is preferred.
5. Solid knowledge of contract law, company law, compliance management, trade compliance, and data protection regulations.
6. Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate professionally in a global business environment.
7. Good understanding of global business operations and processes, and the ability to work seamlessly with global legal teams across regions.
8. Strong legal and compliance awareness, with hands-on experience or solid understanding of confidentiality, data classification, and records management.
9. Strong legal risk awareness, analytical skills, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
