Purpose of Job
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Project Sourcing team to ensure optimal sourcing decisions on NPD and LCM projects.
Manage resource allocation within Project Sourcing team to support project needs.
Work with Category Sourcing and Sourcing Excellence team to deliver optimal sourcing solutions.
Drive Project Sourcing related processes and systems improvement to ensure sourcing efficiency.
Ensure correct and logical documents and templates (eg. RFQ templates and etc.) to be used in Project Sourcing activities.
Actively connect with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive continuous improvement on ways of working.
Continuously coach the team for the skill and capability required to support the dynamics of business development.
Team gradient development to ensure sustainable growth of the project sourcing team.
Education/Knowledge/Experience
Bachelor’s degree; MBA or Engineering degree is a plus.
10+ years of sourcing and project management experience in MNC. or FMCG. Experience in cosmetics industry or Category/Commodity management is a plus.
In depth understanding of cost modeling and TCO management.
Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
Strong business ownership and accountability.
Good capability to manage complexity and solve problem.
Good data analysis skills.
Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and influence skills with suppliers.
Experienced in managing global projects with sound communication skills
Skills Required
