Key Responsibilities.
As a SME, you along with the Future Ship Management Application project team will be responsible to:
- Evaluate the new ERP solution MariApps PALng based on user stories for various modules.
- Part of User acceptance test team.
- Provide feedback to streamline/enhance the current processes.
- Identify the key processes where automation and AI/Machine learning tools can be incorporated.
- Score the applications based on Process thoroughness, User interface and User navigation capabilities.
- Support in developing the process flows for the Future Ship Management Application.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has been on board Maersk vessels for 3+ years.
- Is willing to support, promote, and ensure alignment with the organization’s vision and values.
- Possess a deep understanding of the Ship Management ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) like the current GLSM and its required functionalities.
- Has a knack in identifying and providing solution to streamline/ automate various process within ERP involving vessel operations.
- Can pay meticulous attention to detail and ensure accuracy in data, configuration settings, and system testing.
- Has a good grasp of technology, computer systems, and software applications such as MS office, Project. Familiarity with maritime-specific ERP systems is a plus.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with project stakeholders, team members, and end-users.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify system-related challenges, suggest improvements, and troubleshoot issues.
- Is adaptable to changing project requirements, schedules, and priorities. Ability to adjust to new circumstances and work in dynamic environment.
- Possess a basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies. This includes skills in planning, organizing, coordinating tasks, and meeting project deadlines.

Skills Required
- Minimum 3+ years onboard Maersk vessels
- Deep understanding of Ship Management ERP (e.g., GLSM) and required functionalities
