Summary:
In this role, you will serve as a strategic communications partner to the Clinical Spend Management leadership team, elevating the quality, clarity, and impact of executive communications and business insights. You will develop compelling narratives, executive presentations, and strategic deliverables that translate complex business concepts into clear, audience-focused messaging for clients, prospective clients, boards, and senior leadership. You will collaborate across functions to ensure communications are accurate, visually compelling, and aligned with business objectives while supporting high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and refine executive communications, including quarterly business reviews, board presentations, and strategic business updates.
- Develop clear, concise, and compelling narratives that translate complex data, analyses, and technical concepts for executive and client audiences.
- Design, enhance, and maintain high-quality PowerPoint presentations that deliver visual clarity, consistency, and professional polish.
- Advise leaders on presentation structure, messaging, and storytelling to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and audience needs.
- Create reports, executive summaries, briefing materials, and other strategic communications that support organizational priorities.
- Curate, develop, format, and deliver technical and business content to ensure continuity, quality, and consistency across strategic deliverables.
- Establish and maintain standards, templates, and best practices for executive communications, presentation design, and written content.
- Collaborate with analytics, finance, clinical, and operational teams to gather information, validate content accuracy, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and quality.
- Evaluate communication effectiveness through executive feedback and continuously improve content, messaging, and presentation approaches.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Exceptional business writing, editing, and executive communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with demonstrated expertise in presentation design and visual storytelling.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex business, clinical, financial, and analytical information into executive-level communications.
- Experience developing board presentations, executive briefings, quarterly business reviews, or other high-visibility strategic communications.
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
