The Opportunity
Reporting to the relevant Project Controls Manager, this role is critical to the successful planning, monitoring and optimisation of project schedules across our large‑scale renewable energy portfolio. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure project schedules are accurate, risks are identified early, and progress is clearly communicated to support safe and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules, including tasks, milestones, dependencies and resource allocation
- Update schedules to reflect changes in scope, timelines and project priorities
- Analyse schedule performance, critical path, variances and risks, recommending corrective actions where required
- Conduct schedule quality checks, audits and validations
- Prepare clear schedule reports and dashboards for a broad stakeholder audience
- Collaborate with project teams to optimise sequencing and resource utilisation
- Proactively identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support broader project controls and reporting activities as required
About You
You are an organised and analytical scheduler who thrives in a fast‑paced, project‑based environment and enjoys working with complex schedules and multiple stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience in project planning / scheduling within infrastructure or construction
- Strong experience using Primavera P6 (essential) with exposure to Oracle Primavera Cloud and MS Project
- Experience managing an owner’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and integrating contractor schedules and progress
- Proven ability to review and analyse contractor schedules, including critical path, float and schedule risk
- Experience supporting EOT assessments and providing schedule‑based contract insights
- Ability to produce schedule reports, lookaheads and dashboards for project stakeholders
- Working knowledge of EVM, cost control and integrated cost/schedule reporting
