PROJECT SCHEDULER
Location: Eden Prairie, MN | Hybrid | Remote
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)

EVS is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the planning and execution of engineering and infrastructure projects across renewable energy and power delivery markets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, timelines, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay organized, efficient, and on track.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project from concept through execution.
  • Establish schedule baselines, milestones, and critical paths while integrating engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Identify resource requirements and ensure schedules reflect realistic scopes, durations, and dependencies.
  • Track work progress and measure performance against approved schedule baselines.
  • Prepare and distribute schedule updates, status reports, and schedule narratives highlighting milestones, variances, and project impacts.
  • Identify schedule risks, analyze delays or changes, and recommend mitigation strategies to support on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain schedule alignment.
  • Provide scheduling insight and analysis during project meetings and decision-making discussions.
  • Support improvements to scheduling workflows, reporting standards, and resource planning processes.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience supporting or developing project schedules within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency using MS Project for building, updating, and managing project schedules.
  • Strong understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project planning fundamentals.
  • Experience tracking performance against schedule baselines and supporting schedule risk identification.
  • Ability to develop clear schedule reports and communicate timeline impacts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of engineering design workflows and phased project development.
  • Exposure to substation, transmission, renewable energy, or field execution environments is a plus.
  • Experience with Primavera is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
