The Project Scheduler plays a critical role in the successful planning and execution of our commercial construction projects. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Project Scheduling: Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to outline the sequence of activities, timelines, and milestones for commercial construction projects.

  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to provide regular updates on project schedules, identify issues, and propose solutions to keep the project on schedule.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of all schedule changes, delay notifications, and project updates for reference and reporting purposes.
  • Cost Control: Collaborate with project managers to ensure that project costs align with the budget and provide insights into the financial implications of schedule changes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that schedules are compliant with industry standards and best practices, including quality assurance and safety protocols.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on project schedules and progress, both internally and externally, to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software tools, and best practices in project scheduling to continually improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in commercial construction project scheduling is typically required, with an understanding of construction techniques, methodologies, and terminology.
  • Knowledge of construction safety, quality standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various project stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities are crucial.
