Job requirements

  • 3–7 years of project scheduling experience on large-scale capital construction projects ($50M+). AACE PSP, PMI-SP, or Primavera P6 certification (or active pursuit thereof).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6; working knowledge of MS Project and scheduling best practices. Familiarity with Owner-side scheduling oversight, GC/subcontractor schedule review, and schedule specification enforcement.
  • Strong Excel skills; detail-oriented with ability to resolve financial discrepancies independently. Familiarity with three-way matching or automated invoice processing tools.
  • Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, critical path analysis, float management, and schedule risk assessment. Experience with phased turnover, commissioning schedules, and MEP systems sequencing in complex facilities.
  • Ability to integrate design, procurement, and construction activity streams into a single baseline schedule. Knowledge of TX and OK permitting, utility interconnection, and regional construction labor market dynamics.

Job responsibilities
  • Own the integrated CPM schedule in Primavera P6 — design, procurement, construction, MEP, and commissioning — updated weekly with field progress and contractor look-aheads.
  • Run weekly critical path and float analysis; identify risks, prepare mitigation narratives, and keep project leadership ahead of schedule threats before they become problems.
  • Process change requests, TIAs, and recovery schedules; maintain the baseline with full documentation and distribute S-curves and milestone reports on cadence.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments including Monte Carlo analysis; produce what-if scenarios for accelerated delivery, phased turnover, and delay mitigation.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all subcontractor and vendor schedule submissions; enforce contract spec requirements and facilitate weekly schedule coordination meetings.
  • Produce weekly and monthly performance report packages — earned schedule metrics, milestone status, procurement tracking, and a forward-looking risk register.
  • Maintain the long-lead equipment and procurement log and flag delivery risks threatening the construction sequence.
  • Support EVM inputs, coordinate design and permit milestone tracking, and facilitate lessons-learned sessions at phase gates and project closeout.
