POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules across Vertiv Infrastructure Solutions programs. This role partners closely with Program Managers, Solutions Architects, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure schedule accuracy, risk visibility, and proactive timeline management.
The scheduler supports both proposal‑stage preliminary schedules and fully detailed execution schedules, ensuring alignment with project scope, and customer commitments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best project practice.
- Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.
- Ensure accuracy of project schedules, performed version control, identify potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.
- Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity.
- Monitor projects’ progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date. Recommend actions to keep project on track and within budget.
- Maintain project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on schedule, scope, and budget of projects.
- Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans.
- Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Financial or Project Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, data center construction, or EPC.
- Advanced use of MS Project, Primavera P6, or other scheduling tools.
- Intermediate proficiency in EcoSys, Oracle or other ERP systems.
- Proficiency with construction tools such as Procore.
- A plus if you have a deep understanding of modular and prefabricated construction methods, industrial‑scale piping and power systems, and complex manufacturing workflows.
