The Quality Manager for PRS System (Propulsion System) is responsible for defining and executing the quality strategy throughout the propulsion system development lifecycle. This role ensures alignment with quality standards, effective issue management, and achievement of quality objectives through close coordination with all stakeholders and a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality convergence by applying established quality processes from the preliminary phase through the Mass Production
- Oversee the definition of plans to achieve quality objectives for the propulsion system Project, including the development and management of quality targets, forecasts, customer surveys, risks.
- Document the outcomes of the design process by preparing the propulsion system Design Assessment and the quality sections of milestone documents, evaluating customer impact in the event of deviations.
- Ensure that lessons learned from previous projects are effectively captured and applied; promptly alert in case of deviations, manage corrective actions as required, and propose relevant improvements.
- Support the quality assessment of industrialization in close collaboration with the QUAL and Industrial Quality teams.
- Assist program teams in preparing milestone reviews, monitoring related action plans, and validating the expected maturity status.
- Manage project issues, ensuring timely resolution through root cause analysis and the implementation of standardized action plans.
- Ensure the synthesis of APQP PAPP at the system level.
- Guarantee compliance and manage deviations (IAA).
- Initiate the field early warning (FEW) establishment. In some case PQM could become the leader for a PRS FEW.
- Provide comprehensive monthly quality reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related degree
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
- Confident in engaging with senior management and making decisions under pressure
- Proven conflict resolution skills and ability to implement creative ideas effectively
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
