hardware inventory lifecycle tracking, physical setup and maintenance of
the NYC testing lab, and procurement/budget support for hardware orders and
vendor contracts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable
working with physical hardware and enterprise ERP/procurement systems, and
proactive in maintaining a clean, fully operational lab environment.

*Key Responsibilities**

1. Hardware Inventory Lifecycle & Asset Management*

   - *Asset Ingestion & Tracking:* Intake all incoming prototype, dogfood,
and production hardware into inventory tracking tools (SAP Prod / Agile /
gPLM). Record serial numbers, MAC addresses, asset tags, and assign
appropriate Project Codes (e.g., brand new MP, dogfood, development,
   trusted tester).
   - *Inventory Trackers & Spreadsheets:* Maintain and update primary
hardware inventory trackers (NYC Hardware tracker, GPN Index, Rooms QA
inventory) to ensure real-time accuracy of device locations, statuses, and
   assignees.
   - *Audits & Reconciliation:* Perform bi-weekly physical inventory
counts/audits across storage rooms, lab benches, and desk areas. Reconcile
discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
   - *Disposal & E-Cycling (Dispo):* Coordinate quarterly hardware purges,
routine lab cleanup, and e-recycling workflows via GUTS and secure disposal
partners (SLS/SIMS). Properly categorize, de-register, update status to
"Retired" in SAP Prod, and stage hardware in designated disposal bins.
   - *Check-in / Check-out Support:* Manage asset returns and reassignments
for cross-functional team members (SWE, QA, PM, UX).

*2. NYC Lab Setup, Device Provisioning & Lab Maintenance*

   - *Unboxing & Mechanical Assembly:* Unbox, assemble, mount, and cable
new Meet Hardware kits, compute boxes, touch controllers, cameras,
   microphones, soundbars, and peripheral accessories.
   - *Room & Bench Setup:* Deploy and configure Meet Hardware test setups
(Small, Medium, Large room configurations) across lab benches and test
   rooms in the NYC facility.
   - *Device Provisioning & Network Connectivity:* Ensure devices are
properly powered, enrolled into appropriate test domains/Armada fleet,
connected to the CE/test corporate network, and updated to designated
   ChromeOS / Meet software builds.
   - *Day-to-Day Lab Readiness:* Maintain the NYC lab in an "always-ready"
   state:
   - Verify all test stations, displays, peripherals, and compute units are
powered on, connected, healthy, and ready for immediate engineering and QA
   use.
   - Continuously organize lab benches, power rails, cabling, and staging
   shelves.
   - Triage basic device power, cable, or network connectivity issues
   before escalating to engineering.

*3. Procurement & Budget Operations*

   - *Purchase Order (PO) Creation:* Initiate and manage POs for hardware
purchases, OEM test units (Logitech, Poly, etc.), lab equipment, and
third-party vendor services through Google procurement tools (Buying Hub /
   Navigo).
   - *Risk Assessments & Compliance:* Execute risk assessments in Navigo
and ensure proper compliance categorization prior to PO submission.
   - *Budget & Contract Tracking:* Track PO approvals, burn rates, and
active vendor contracts against Cost Center 716 utilizing the internal
   contract and PO tracker.
   - *Invoice & Supplier Operations:* Coordinate with external suppliers
(e.g., Gecko, NTT Data, Maverick Labels) and Google vendor onboarding
systems (Spend/Ariba) to verify invoice accuracy, assist with receipt of
   goods, and route approvals.

*Required Qualifications & Experience*

   - *Experience:* 2+ years of experience in hardware lab management, IT
asset management, logistics coordination, or IT operations.
   - *Hands-on Hardware Skills:* Comfortable unboxing, assembling,
mounting, and cabling conference room hardware, displays, and peripheral
   electronics.
   - *Systems Proficiency:*
   - Prior hands-on experience using enterprise ERP/inventory tracking
   systems (e.g., SAP, Agile/gPLM).
   - Familiarity with enterprise purchasing/procurement systems (e.g.,
   Ariba, Buying Hub, Navigo, Coupa).
   - Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive).
   - *Organizational Skills:* High attention to detail with physical
inventory tracking, serial numbers, and barcode auditing.

interface with SWEs, QA, Program Managers, facilities teams, and external
   hardware vendors.

35–50 lbs (displays, packaged hardware kits, dispo bins).

*Preferred Qualifications*

   - Familiarity with ChromeOS, Google Meet Hardware peripherals, or video
conferencing systems (Logitech, Poly, Neat, Lenovo, etc.).
