The Project Procurement Manager is responsible for leading all procurement activities aligned with customer project execution. This role serves as a critical link between Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure materials and services are delivered on time, within budget, and to required specifications.

Operating in a dynamic, project-driven environment, the Project Procurement Manager owns procurement delivery for assigned projects, driving cost competitiveness, supply assurance, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

What you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for assigned projects, including sourcing strategy, supplier selection, negotiation, contract execution, and delivery management.

  • Align procurement execution with project schedules, ensuring all critical milestones and long-lead items are delivered on time.

  • Act as the primary procurement point of contact within project teams.

  • Partner closely with Engineering to define technical specifications and evaluate supplier capabilities.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to align procurement plans with project timelines and deliverables.

  • Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery.

  • Own and manage project procurement budgets, monitoring spends and forecast accuracy.

  • Drive cost savings through competitive sourcing, negotiation, and value engineering initiatives.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate cost risks to protect project margins.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of supporting project requirements.

  • Manage supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

  • Resolve supplier issues and escalate risks as needed to ensure project continuity.

  • Identify supply chain and procurement risks early and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain visibility into procurement status, risks, and recovery plans.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual standards, and quality requirements.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to knowledge-sharing across projects.

  • Support supplier development and long-term capability building.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or project management, preferably within industrial or engineered-to-order environments.

  • Demonstrated experience managing procurement for complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience working within cross-functional and multicultural teams.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$95,000-$130,000 Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
