For the Capital Projects department in Hillerød, we are looking for an experienced Project Procurement & Contract Manager (PCM) to support our CapEx portfolio.

Responsibilities and duties

As a Projects Procurement and Contract manager in Capital Projects, you will lead the Contracting & Procurement activities on a large number of CapEx projects with a large variation of size and complexity. You will support the small CapEx portfolio (supporting the existing facility) as well as our large strategic projects going on at site (new manufacturing plants).

Besides the daily Procurement and contracting tasks, the team focuses on developing tools and methods to support the overall CapEx strategy.

You will collaborate with many functions across the organization, and you ensure compliance with strategy and procedures in close collaboration with the global Legal entity.

Together with the FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies' Project team, user organizations, and relevant external partners, the PCM manager will ensure that Procurement and contracting activities are conducted timely and in compliance with external regulations and internal guidelines and procedures.

In the role as PCM Manager the activities and responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of the procurement strategy for the projects in alignment with the Project Manager.
  • Procurement planning and execution.
  • Contract management (project and contract lifecycle).
  • Ensuring alignment on execution of procurement plan across the project organization.
  • Communicating updates and project information to stakeholders, sponsors, and governance teams.
  • Interacting with equivalent level managers concerning matters of significance to the company
  • Conducting briefings and technical meetings for senior management and key external representatives.
  • Responsibility for implementing and supporting agreements and contracts to obtain favorable positions for the company.
  • Responsibility for driving multiple portfolio projects through to completion within schedule and budget regarding procurement activities.
  • Identifying and deploying needed resources for project execution

Success criteria
You most likely have a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Economics or Engineering and 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, but we are open to receive your application even if you do not meet alle the written requirements but have experience and attitude the can foster your success in the role.

Preferably you have experience from the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry. You feel comfortable in the role and you are able to work independently in most cases but understand when to align with your manager.

Paramount to succeed and accomplish results are to make correct decisions and recommendations, that aligns well with the project overall goal and need. A major part of this is your ability to collaborate with all levels in the organization.

About the department

The Capital Projects department is managing the capital project portfolio (CapEx) for the Hillerød site.

We lead the CapEx projects through the entire live cycle from the early conceptual phases until handover.

In Capital Projects, you will be part of a team of +50 colleagues based in Hillerod. You will report to Associate Director of the PCM team. This team consists of 5 procurement- and contracting professionals with both contract employees and full-time employees (FTE).
