At Bridgeway Benefit Technologies, we’re modernizing how professional services are delivered, executed, and scaled across our client base. We’re seeking a Project Portfolio Manager to help drive strategic alignment between sales, delivery, operations, and finance; ensuring our portfolio of client projects is optimized for profitability, capacity, and customer success.
Reporting to the Vice President, Project Management Office (PMO), this role plays a pivotal part in advancing our professional services delivery model, strengthening collaboration with Sales, and enhancing visibility into the pipeline, resource capacity, and revenue forecasting. This is a remote position with travel up to 20% of the time. East coast candidates preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead portfolio planning for the Professional Services organization—owning visibility into project demand, capacity planning, and revenue projections across all active and upcoming client engagements.
- Partner with Sales to support pre-sales activities, including project and program scoping, pricing validation, SOW approvals, and client-facing executive presentations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PMO leadership, Implementation, and Finance to ensure the services pipeline aligns with delivery readiness, staffing plans, and monthly business objectives.
- Monitor and report portfolio health through dashboards and scorecards that track utilization, backlog, risks, and forecast accuracy, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive process standardization for pre-sales, estimating, and portfolio governance to improve efficiency, scalability, and communication across teams.
- Continuously evaluate and improve how project demand translates into resource allocation, ensuring teams are aligned with business priorities and operating within capacity constraints.
- Champion the use of PMO tools and best practices, leveraging Bridgeway’s systems (such as Clarizen, Smartsheet, or Power BI) to drive transparency, consistency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Support business advancement initiatives, including refinement of fee-for-service offerings, capacity optimization, and revenue realization strategies.
Requirements:
- PMP, PgMP, or PfMP certification from the Project Management Institute
- Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience managing complex portfolios, programs, or enterprise projects in a client-facing environment. (In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of relevant experience.)
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects and creating executive dashboards or portfolio scorecards
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across sales, operations, and delivery functions to balance client demand with internal capacity and strategic goals
- Strong business acumen and comfort interpreting data related to pipeline health, utilization, and revenue forecasting
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and clients
