Project Planner - Scottsdale

Role Overview

We are hiring a Project Planner to help drive planning, pricing, and execution across our Scottsdale-area projects. This role sits at the center of sales, design, and construction, making it an ideal next step for a Project Manager or Estimator looking to expand their impact across the full project lifecycle. You will play a key role in shaping budgets early, guiding design decisions with real-time cost feedback, and ensuring projects are fully bought out and financially on track before construction begins.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop budgets and pricing from early concept through final design

• Partner with design teams to align scope, cost, and constructability

• Lead procurement and subcontractor buyout to hit margin targets

• Manage project financials, including budgets, invoices, and pay applications

• Support project execution through coordination with field teams

• Attend job walks and provide constructability and cost feedback to support the sales process

• Perform margin analysis and report variances to the Director of Planning

Qualifications

• Background in project management, estimating, or preconstruction

• Strong financial and analytical mindset with budget ownership experience

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with design and construction teams

• Experience in residential or design-build projects is a plus

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation, Benefits & Retirement

• $90,000 – $120,000 base salary plus bonus structure (matching the Dallas posting)
