The Project Officer will be
responsible for the implementation of 25 Micro-schools/InSchool programs, implementation,
and management of the Micro-Schools/InSchool program. This role entails
overseeing the execution in 25 Micro-Schools/InSchool of 5 clusters and
ensuring its smooth operation and success.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Implementation:
- Take responsibility for the successful
implementation of the Micro-Schools/InSchool program in the region.
- Supervise the 5-cluster team, providing
guidance, support, and supervision to ensure effective project execution.
- Set clear goals, objectives, and strategies for
the project, aligning them with the organization's mission and vision.
2. Field Operations
Management:
- Manage and coordinate the field operations of
digital micro-schools, ensuring they meet project standards and objectives.
- Support and build rapport with the team of
facilitators to optimize the execution of the digital micro-school program.
- Foster close coordination between the field
teams and facilitators for seamless implementation.
3. Project Monitoring and
Evaluation:
- Monitor project progress regularly, assess
outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
- Review and analyze data and feedback from field
staff to measure project effectiveness and address challenges.
- Provide timely feedback, guidance, and solutions
to project officers and field staff to ensure project success.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with parents, and community members
to foster positive relationships and ensure effective project implementation.
- Participate in Micro-Schools weekly dashboard
calls, facilitators weekly meeting and SMC/community meetings to discuss
program progress and sustainability.
5. Expansion and Scalability:
- Identify potential communities within the
cluster for scaling up the micro-school initiative with the assistance of field
staff.
- Collaborate with the assessment, procurement,
and finance teams to ensure smooth project progress and provide feedback and
solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant
field or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
