Honeywell Aerospace’s Federal Solutions (HFS) is responsible for the oversight of Honeywell Aerospace’s contracts for the U.S. government Department of Energy, other federal agencies, and international customers. HFS is on the leading edge of applying industrial best practices, supplying advanced applied research and development; engineering and advanced manufacturing; high hazard experiment; and testing and evaluation for our nation's defense and national security.  The position will work in the Honeywell Aerospace’s Federal Solutions (HFS) Strategy and Business Operations organization, reporting to the Director for Strategy and Business Operations.

Summary of Duties:

Performs complex business and office management support, develops methods, performs quantitative and special analyses covering a wide variety of functions.  Manage the Honeywell Aerospace Federal Solutions (HFS) section, its infrastructure, and coordinate with the site and headquarters counterparts. Support marketing and strategic communications activities. Perform business administrative duties for HFS leaders, supported sites, interface with Honeywell Aerospace functional staff, marketing and strategic communications staff along with subcontracted staff and other business partners.

Responsibilities.

 •    Business administrative support the strategy, marketing, business development, and business operations activities across geographically separated sites. 

  • Manage a proposal center and the associated infrastructure and physical plant (conference rooms, cubical farm). Ensure continuity of operations and coordination with partners and guests.
  • Performs varied duties requiring judgment, initiative, and support the function/organization. Directly interfaces with Honeywell Aerospace functional and administrative staff.
  • Manage the organizations’ accounts, overhead budget, and financial and corporate credit card account.
  • Support strategic communications efforts: Digital marketing, website, conference and seminars.

    Schedule’s appointments, maintain and update the organization’s shared calendar and lead reoccurring meetings. Coordinate travel and agenda of on and off-site meetings.

  • Apply detailed knowledge of office and Corporate procedures and the functional group that may require the collection of information from business systems, applications, files, or other departments. 
  • Develop and assist in the development and delivery of organizational and corporate level gate reviews.

•     On-boarding new employees, teaming partners, guests, or new functional employees to assimilate to the business or function.

 •    Operates PC and software applications to generate tables, charts, memoranda, reports, correspondence, and maintain databases.

 •    Foster and enable a safe, inclusive, and collaborative working environment. Conducts all activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. 


Specific to the responsibilities include:

  • Proposal Facilities Management. Manage a facility that has multiple conference rooms, a cubicle farm and a proposal center. Develops extensive relationships and collaboration with counterparts within Honeywell Aerospace. 
  • Support Business Development. Work with the capture planning team in alignment with new business campaign and associated support requirements. 
  • Financial Analysis. Manage the HFS budget, invoice, and accounting processes
  • Marketing, Conferences Management. Conference/seminars planning and execution. Marketing and strategic communications metrics. Develops extensive relationships with external organizations and collaboration with counterparts within Honeywell Aerospace marketing and strategic communications team.
  • Knowledge Management. Establishes and maintains accurate computer and document files and records on an ongoing basis. Ensure that this organization adheres to Honeywell Aerospace policies and customer procedures.
  • Office Support & Equipment. Account for, manage, and maintain office equipment and its infrastructure. 
  • Information Technologies/E-Mail Account Management. Manage organization specific e-mail account and shared information service for a distributed work force.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in business administration, site management
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. Dept of Energy "Q" and/or Top Secret/Special Compartment Information level security clearance.

WE VALUE:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business management-related field
  • Proven work experience in project management, business management services, and business development.
  • Understanding of a bid and proposal process and support requirements (procedures and infrastructure)
  • Strong understanding of business development, marketing, and strategic communications tools and venues (e.g., digital media, trade conference/summits/seminars planning and execution) 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (verbal, written, and graphic representations). 
  • Self-starter, industrious with ability to work independently in a fluid environment.
