Main Accountabilities:
Project
-
Provide input to the conceptual designs with respect to design and selection of key equipment’s (static & rotary) and technology requirements while working with internal and external specialists.

Generate basic and detailed engineering design deliverables as required to support the execution of projects.

Provide Mechanical and Piping scope cost estimates to Project Managers. Ensure all related information is suitably documented and updated.

Review third party design work & documents to ensure compliance with the relevant standards.

Support construction activities to ensure the project is delivered as per the approved design.

Prepare test plans, procedures, and functional progress reports to ensure on time delivery of assets for mechanical completion.

Participate in risk assessments and design safety studies.

Support the preparation of commissioning procedures and assist in the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities and report progress
Engineering
-
Deliver functional engineering in line with the Global Project Framework

Provide engineering support activities for manufacturing facilities.

Ensures all engineering work meets the company best practice standards and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
-
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years working experience in Chemical or related industries

Experience: Refer to and practice using the international codes and standards such as API, ASME, DIN, ANSI etc.

Generate plant equipment datasheet, piping spec. using standard templates.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel and MS Projects, Engineering design calculations

Project Scope Management - Deliver assigned project KPI's as per the validated URS.

Sub-contract and procurement management -Prepare technical bid evaluation, Monitor, and report contract changes.

Concept Design and Optioneering - develop basic engineering deliverables to support concept development including design calculations and basic specifications.

Equipment Data sheet & Material requisition - Generate and Review material data and MR for its completeness. Ensure that sufficient information on the procurement specification is available on the data sheet and MR being issued to the vendor.
