The Project Manager for the
ADLP (Accelerated Digital Learning Program) initiative is responsible for
overseeing the establishment of digital MicroSchools aimed at providing access
to quality education through digital learning platforms. This role involves
comprehensive project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion within
the stipulated time and budget. The Project Manager will coordinate with
various stakeholders, manage resources, and ensure that the project objectives
align with the organization's mission of delivering functional literacy and
digital skills to underserved communities. The ideal candidate must possess
strong project management skills, a deep understanding of educational
technology, and the ability to manage large-scale projects in a non-profit
setting.
Project Planning & Initiation:
- Develop a
detailed project plan for the ADLP initiative, outlining timelines, milestones,
and resource allocation.
- Secure
necessary approvals and partnerships with local authorities and stakeholders to
ensure project alignment with regional education goals.
- Collaborate
cross-functionally to bring design improvements and enhance effectiveness of
the model
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop
benchmarks for assessment of program effectiveness
Execution & Monitoring:
- Oversee the
implementation of digital micro schools, ensuring that each site is equipped
with the necessary technology, educational content, and trained personnel.
- Monitor the
progress of each MicroSchool establishment, ensuring adherence to the project
design, timeline and budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams,
including technology, education, and community engagement, to ensure seamless
execution of the project.
Resource Management:
- Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and materials, to
ensure efficient use and avoid wastage.
- Maintain regular communication with
stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and internal teams, to
provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior leadership, highlighting
achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure that all digital MicroSchools
comply with the organization's standards for educational content, technology
use, and safety.
- Implement quality control measures to
ensure that each micro school meets its educational objectives and provides a
high-quality learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the digital MicroSchools on student
learning outcomes, making adjustments as needed to improve effectiveness.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks to the project
and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Handle unforeseen challenges and obstacles, ensuring minimal disruption
to project timelines and objectives.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s
degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 5-7
years of experience in project management, with a focus on operational
projects.
