Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a London Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale infrastructure migration program within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, governance, technical coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation across multiple technical workstreams including OpenShift, Automation, Infrastructure, and DevOps. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a secure, scalable, and compliant migration platform aligned with enterprise operational and regulatory standards.

What you will do:

  • Lead the end-to-end migration program from initiation through completion while ensuring delivery within approved scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, dependency maps, risk registers, governance documentation, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate OpenShift, Automation, Infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering workstreams to ensure aligned and integrated delivery outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder communication across business, operational, and technical teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Provide regular executive reporting, dashboards, status updates, and escalation management on program progress, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure alignment with governance, security, operational, and compliance standards across all migration activities.
  • Oversee the production and maintenance of technical documentation including architectural designs, operational procedures, and recovery runbooks.
  • Drive proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution across multiple technical streams.
  • Coordinate collaboration between engineering teams to support automation, integration, platform stability, and operational continuity.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure contracted services are delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Track program financials and maintain adherence to approved budgets and resource allocation plans.
  • Support delivery governance and ensure compliance with regulatory and enterprise operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure migration programs within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, operational processes, infrastructure platforms, and OpenShift fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple technical delivery streams within enterprise transformation programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting capabilities.
  • Experience managing program governance, budgets, vendors, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within complex enterprise technology and compliance-driven environments.
