The Global Occupier Services business within Cushman & Wakefield have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our market-leading Global Occupier Services function, based in Poland.
We are looking for a pro-active Project Manager from either a commercial real estate, construction, facilities management background to be involved in the following:
- Build strong networks within Cushman & Wakefield and maintain a good understanding of wider business services and markets, i.e. Workplace Consultancy, ESG, Data.
- Assist in the selection and contracting process and oversight of Tier 2 consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project.
- Develop a partnership with client stakeholders to achieve corporate goals and objectives as to quality, service and cost.
- Have an oversight into the performance, development, work quality, reporting, and activities of C&W Local Project Managers and Tier 2 appointed designers, general contractor etc
- Being an inspiring, inclusive and engaging line manager to develop a team of high performing consultants, embodying DEI values and promoting a culture of ‘Opportunity and Ownership’.
- Develop and / or facilitate development of Playbooks, process documentation and governance tools to capture best practice and future operations.
- Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
- Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.
- Prepare reports for client and key stakeholders regarding the status of project.
- The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project and align with the clients project gateways from inception to completion.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards, best representing Cushman & Wakefield.
- Must take ownership and solve problems to ensure deliverables are met, including escalation and delegation.
- Shows strong professionalism and inspiring leadership qualities and directly responsible for developing team talent.
- The ability to work independently and allocate resources consistent with business goals.
- The Senior Project Manager will need to connect regularly with the Regional and Local FMs on the client account.
- Lead and direct the work of other team members. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects across the EMEA Region
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and adherence to clients process and execution
- Must follow the Governance structure and processes, including adherence to the clients Design Standards & Guidelines and all other relevant technical standards
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimise potential risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
- Track project performance, planned versus actual
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as Stakeholders
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
- Perform other related duties as assigned
