We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Overseeing the entire implementation project, coordinating team members, managing timelines, and ensuring the project meets its objectives;
- Coordinate and follow up the work of various technical and functional teams (e.g. business analysis, development, testing/QA, operations, security, UX, documentation), ensuring that dependencies are identified, communicated and managed;
- Support the definition, refinement and documentation of business requirements and user stories in collaboration with business owners, product owners and business analysts;
- Support test and quality‑assurance activities by planning and coordinating test phases (functional, regression, user acceptance, non‑functional), ensuring that entry/exit criteria are defined, met and documented, and that defects are followed up until resolution;
- Acquire and maintain a solid understanding of the business processes supported by the information systems in scope, including high‑level architecture and key cross‑system interactions (data flows, interfaces, security, usability, scalability, interoperability), in order to support informed planning and decision‑making.
Requirements
- University degree in IT, combined with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management and handling at least one implementation project;
- Experience in planning, tracking and reporting (scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, quality), including use of standard PM tools;
- Experience in Project Management tools & methodologies;
- Project management certification such as Prince II or equivalent is mandatory;
- Excellent command of the English language.
