- Project management: Through all relevant engineering managers and team leads, ensure accurate and regular maintenance of project plans and reporting of all major issues regarding projects to the Management Team. Through the relevant managers, ensure all technical and commercial aspects of projects are addressed in a timely fashion during the implementation of the projects.
- Provide regular review process for all projects to the Executive Management Team.
- Project performance - Manage project, lead project teams to ensure costs and schedules performance per budget and plan. - Customer service: Ensure effective coordination with the various functions within the company in particular those that have direct effect on projects, such as manufacturing, warranty procurement TQM and finance. Provide support for Tendering, R & D, Warranty as required.
- Ensures that goods & services for assigned projects are procured in accordance with specified requirements relating to quantity & quality & are delivered in time to meet arranged schedules
- Manages projects in line Sydac processes and guidelines. Adhere to all policies procedures and work instructions within the discipline of ISO9001 Quality System.
- Authorization of material requisitions and purchase orders according to the appropriate company policy in place at the time
- To work with cross-functional teams with an emphasis on project budgets and delivery milestones. Provide greater visibility of delivery milestones & budgets in a wider context over and above the current task to all teams in Pune.
Requirements
- Preferred - BTech/MTech/BE/ME in Computer science.
- Certification in PMP/Agile/ Prince 2
- 12+ Years of Overall Experience and Project Manager role Experience 5 + Years
- Project Management concepts, tools, frameworks
- Thorough understanding of engineering principles.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical skills
- Strong ability to understand technical systems
