Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycles across ICT and Engineering projects
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets
- Liaise with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including software developers, IT engineers, and field technicians
- Monitor project progress using tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
- Manage risks, issues, and changes throughout project delivery
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and business objectives
- Prepare regular project reports for stakeholders and executive leadership
- Uphold the BGS Principles in every client and team interaction
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management, preferably across IT and engineering sectors
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (required)
- Proven experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams
- Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, software solutions, and civil/electrical engineering projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Trello, Jira)
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and ICT service delivery in Nigeria
- Experience in datacentre setup, infrastructure deployment, or e-solutions deployments
- Knowledge of procurement and vendor management
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
