Role Summary:
The Project Manager will plan, direct, and ensure the successful outcome of projects utilizing the assigned project teams, as well as standards, practices, and toolsets established within Flowserve. You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project activity is regularly reported to the client and performed as per agreed technical specifications and project terms and conditions.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in Daily Management OFM, Production meetings as needed, Project Reviews, PDBL Reviews, Cost Review, etc.
Conducting Internal and External KOM for ALL ORDERS. Conduct KOM with Major Sub-Suppliers.
Make use of the established tools for Preliminary Risk Assessment, Risk Register, RAIL, mitigation actions. Maintain Project Risks updated with monthly Risk review and tracking.
Utilization of Phase Gate Procedure/Tool and ensure OTD as per KPI targets.
Maintain project communication as per PMO communication requirements. Usage of Project MoM and RAIL is obligatory
Contract review is required to be performed by PM in all orders, filling and usage of Phase Gate checklist is required for All orders, actions and notes to be transferred to MoM and RAIL..
Actively create Lessons Learned forums in the assigned projects by leading, communicating and register of the Lessons Learned.
Develop and Validate Project schedules for all projects based on CPM Methodology and contract scope with support of Master Scheduling. Actively manage project schedule and critical path analysis through project schedule in GPSR and Dashboard to meet Task OTD and Release to Manufacturing KPIs. Project Monthly Progress Report to Customer is required once per month at least for all projects.
Maintain project activities updated in weekly basis, review with project team to ensure tasks are up to date, evaluate CP and review optimization to increase float and reduce delivery delays.
Detailed revision of Original Budget/Scope for early identification of customer changes. Usage of Change Authorization Tool and notification formats internal and external.
Daily usage of Windchill/OEPDMS, documentation performance according to established KPI. Daily review of project documentation internal, external and customer.
Progress Payment invoicing and collection according to project baseline, Dispute Management invoices solving, Progress Billing Update and Dashboard usage, identification of risk and action establishment to improve collections and therefore PWC.
Delivery according to contractual date. Change order management includes date negotiation for customer changes. Documentation and Buyout OTD according to Project baseline. Task Management and RTM are key.
Ensure contribution margin execution through scope/resource administration and change order management.
Develop and improve customer relations through active communication and collaboration.
Requirements
Needs to have experience in Managing Projects as a Project Manager for an OE or EPC company.
Knowledge on Budgeting, scheduling (MS Project Pro).
Needs to understand project cost controls as Gross Margin, Operating Income, EAC, FTC.
Needs to understand document control processes or worked on those.
Needs to have some experience on equipment: motors, turbines, pumps of course, seals systems, LOS, valves.
Needs to understand quality requirements for the above mentioned equipment.
Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related major.
Needs to have experience in change management.
Experience in Contract Management (T&Cs, LD’s, LoL, BG’s)
Experience in presenting projects to stakeholders.
