  • They will be adept at establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication of project status and milestones.
  • Additionally, the Project Manager will excel in budget and resource management, risk assessment, and quality assurance, driving projects to successful completion while adhering to the highest standards of project management.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Expertise in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Proven ability to monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks effectively.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with business units, vendors, and senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey project status, milestones, and key deliverables clearly and timely.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Ability to foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Motivational skills to inspire stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Experience in monitoring project budgets and ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Skill in working with resource management teams to allocate resources based on project needs.

Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

  • Proficiency in identifying and assessing project risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Proactive approach to addressing project issues and escalating them as needed for timely resolution.

Quality Assurance:

  • Commitment to ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
  • Experience in conducting regular project reviews and quality assessments.

Qualifications:

Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of recent specialized experience, or an Associate’s degree with 9 years, or a major certification with 11 years, or 13 years of recent specialized experience.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
  • TESA eligibility.
  • Proven experience as a Senior IT Project Manager with a successful track record of managing multiple complex projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Desired

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Top Secret level clearance

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
