The Role

What it’s like to be a Northbridge Project Manager

Our Project Managers play a crucial role on our Enterprise Project Management Office. They are largely responsible for managing the timely and efficient implementation of key corporate projects which cross multiple departments. They lead all aspects of the Project Lifecycle: overseeing the definition of tasks, providing guidance in business case preparation, building and issuing project schedules, and executing the project.

They establish and direct strategic and complex IT initiatives. They create project charters, oversee application development, and systems integration. They manage project directives in conjunction with vendors and ensure all technical and governance standards are always met. They deal with issues, including those related to resourcing and establish processes and mitigating strategies for managing risks.

If you are great at:

  • Excellent project management skills in the context of an IT project

  • Excellent leadership abilities to guide and direct project staff

  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical capabilities and decision-making

  • Results oriented and deadline driven

If you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Advanced understanding of the Project Management life cycle as well as best practices

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with the full software development lifecycle and business analysis methodologies

  • Experience and/ or working knowledge of Agile project management, specifically using the Scrum framework (CSM or PSM certifications an asset)

  • PMP certification is an asset

  • Min. 8 years of experience in similar project management roles

  • Experience and/ or working knowledge of change management principles and methodologies

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $92,000 - $138,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, don’t let that hold you back — we’d still love to hear from you.
