As the Project Manager, you will manage the successful planning, execution and delivery of short-term and long-term projects to help PPG's Industrial Coatings business achieve its growth strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.

This will be a hybrid role located in Pittsburgh, PA - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. You will report to the Head of Strategy Execution Office.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any project risks and issues.
- Be an objective voice-of-the-business
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Be a primary contact with project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status, including progress, challenges, and changes to scope and timelines.
- Gather and incorporate partner feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived.
- Facilitate the transition of project deliverables to operational teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years' relevant experience in project management, with experience delivering projects on time and within budget. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
