We are hiring immediately for a Project Manager in our Events Sector - a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.

What you’ll do:

• Successful Management of specific projects and major client orders to a successful completion both operationally and commercially. This will include multiple project deliveries.
• Working with the AES Operations team to develop class leading project management tools, successfully differentiating AES in the market.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to identify growth opportunities within specific subsectors and accounts identified.
• To approach each project with a view to innovating and improving our customer offering.
• Design and engineer solutions to meet the customers’ requirements, creation of kit lists to support sales.
• Promote best practices in managing projects, Safety and documentation
• Develop customer partnerships and senior management relationships
• Travel approximately 60-80%

• You’ll have general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

• 5 years’ experience in delivering major events at an international level or in a similar role.    
• Team player and ability to multitask.       
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Compliance in maintaining (accurate and relevant) all project related information on the appropriate systems (Salesforce / FSL / ERP / shared drives.    
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with team and clients
• Managing in a Health and Safety cultureundefined
• Strong understanding of crisis management
• Proficiency with a CRM (i.e., Salesforce)
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
