Responsible for the development and implementation of medium-scale project(s) and the single point of contact for assigned projects. Conceptualizes project plans and determines steps for implementation. Develops project plans, schedules and estimates. Responsible for project update and tracking and adherence to set quality standards. Responsible for coordinating tasks assigned to vendors. Content expertise may be utilized as an advisor for complex projects. Leads a team of direct reports.

Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects and operational functions. This person will be integral in the planning, execution, and learnings of projects. Success will require building a partnership with all cross functional areas across the company to reinforce and improve upon existing project and program methodologies that meet customer objectives, while creating value for all parties.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of projects including workflow, timelines, development, quality assurance, deployment, and budget tracking of a range of solutions on multiple platforms.
• Retain expert understanding of product, program, and project for exceptional execution
• Work collaboratively and proactively with designers, production managers, software developers, business intelligence, quality assurance, logistics, marketing managers, account executives, customer relations and clients to define requirements and plan, scope, and estimate projects.
• Maintain, distribute, and communicate important project documentation including Statement of Work and Technical Specifications
• Create, review, and evaluate project plans, including budgets and timelines, alerting appropriate staff at the first sign of any potential risk or barrier that may prevent work from being completed.  
• Continuously evaluate project requirements and resources.
• Provide quality control before sending any work to clients.
• Facilitate meetings and reviews, distributing recaps to team members and project stakeholders identifying next steps and timing

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of related experience in project management, production, or operations
• PMP Certification, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) and/or experience as an agile coach preferred.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects through manufacturing and distribution
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Robust project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling, and executing on committed schedules/budget
• Exhibit good motivational skills to bring out the best in team members
• Demonstrated success in leading and influencing without direct authority at all levels with internal staff and external clients
• Ability to think and act quickly making courageous decisions based on facts and prior experiences
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management applications such as Smartsheet, Asana or JIRA.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment
