Project managers are responsible for overseeing an assigned construction project from the beginning to the end: planning, managing and tracking the progress of construction project.
Duties include, but not limited to:
1. Project Management:
- Prepare planning/development schedules
- Prepare budget for construction
- Prepare bidding outline for prospective contractor selection process
- Deal with the selected constructors on construction budget, building specifications
- Hold periodical meetings with the contractors
- Assist Leasing Team in proposing, explaining on the building from technical aspects to targeted tenants
- Hold/participate meetings with tenants
- Improve building specifications where necessary
- Other related duties, such as solar project
2. Group-Related:
- Conduct technical due diligence/budgeting on potential sites
- Prepare development schedules
- Gather information on traffic/disaster prevention
- Deal with administrative authorities
- Manage development consultants
3. Planning:
- Check volumes, adjust to optimum plan and instruct architect office
- Supervise architect office in preparing volume preparation schedule
- Prepare prototype plans
