About the roleThis exciting position will focus on delivering next-generation technologies for an emerging product category, driving innovation and excellence from concept through to launch. You will play a key role in shaping Dyson’s future portfolio, ensuring projects meet time, cost, and quality targets while maintaining Dyson’s uncompromising standards for performance and design.
Lead cross-functional teams to take new category products from concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with Dyson’s strategic vision and maintaining clear communication with senior stakeholders.
Drive project progress in a fast-paced, highly technical environment—managing risks, actions, and issues while resolving conflicts and enabling innovative solutions.
Oversee resource planning, cost control, and adherence to Dyson’s development processes and engineering standards for emerging technologies.
Facilitate optimal design decisions within time, specification, and cost constraints, supporting resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, and software challenges hands-on.
Ensure seamless integration of mechanical design, electronics, sensors, and software with procurement, manufacturing, and commercial functions to deliver exceptional product performance.
Maintain governance and organization of project-related information while managing stakeholder expectations across all development stages.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) is required; PMP certification is preferred.
Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
Ability to build effective relationships, influence stakeholders, and engage confidently with senior executives.
Proficiency in Mandarin is required as the role involves frequent collaboration with suppliers and partners in China.
Assertive and proactive in driving teams toward solutions and remedial actions when necessary.
Solid understanding of engineering processes for air treatment products, including airflow dynamics, filtration systems, and electronics integration.
Willingness to travel frequently to China is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project.
