ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work remotely.
ECS is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead initiatives under the Web Content Management as a Service (WCMaaS or WCM) contract on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Solutions Development Directorate (SDD), Platform and Solutions Division (PSD). The PM role will have a particular focus on the WCM strategic roadmap, customer initiated projects and O&M tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and have the skills to collaborate across stakeholders to maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating programmatic risks and establish robust project plans to support the program and division’s operational objectives.
Job responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple web content and platform management projects from planning/ideation through to deployment/implementation
- Assessing the technical feasibility of proposed use cases by clarifying and analyzing requirements with data architects, SMEs, data engineers, and federal stakeholders
- Developing and managing strong relationships with federal stakeholders to ensure continued progress on identified initiatives
- Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around project goals and technical requirements
- Facilitating communication of complex technical concepts and project requirements/goals to a diverse audience
- Identifying, developing, and managing project schedules, resources, risks, priorities, and activities
- Overseeing and mentoring junior project team members as needed
Salary Range: $125,000 - $130,000

- 7+ years of related experience managing IT/technology projects
- Experience managing technical and strategy teams in data science, data analytics, and data management
- Proficiency in various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership, team management, and presentation skills
