Project Manager
Wilmington, DE headquarters
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Hybrid (three days in office per week and two days' work from home)
The primary purpose of the Project Manager role is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints. Project scope may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management in order to deliver business value. Candidates should bring a passion for project management, relentless customer focus, and a zeal for successfully delivering complex projects that drive business value
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Lead projects in support of our Corporate and Legal Solutions Business Unit.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project colleagues to outline work plan.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
- Monitor project progress, providing status reporting to Leadership and Executive Leadership team members.
- Utilize existing collaboration tools (SharePoint and Smartsheet) as necessary.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- 5+ years project management experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing internal expectations.
- Familiar with project management methodologies, and knowledge of project planning tools like Smartsheet.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated experience in seeking process improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully utilizing "soft skills" or "people skills".
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team with empathy and knowledge of personality types
- PM training and certification desirable but not required.
