Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business
The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. The company provides consulting, planning, implementation and 24/7 remote management. Climatec is active in several market segments and industries including data centers, commercial real estate buildings, and federal, state, and local government. Climatec has operated as an independent entity, maintaining its offices in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Climatec continues to represent and integrate numerous leading manufactures’ product lines across its wide range of services, including Bosch products. In 2023, Bosch acquired Canadian-based security integrator Paladin Technologies. Merging Paladin Technologies and Climatec will significantly expand Bosch’s Integrator Business in North America. Job Summary:
As a Bosch Building Technologies Project Manager, you will work closely with multiple teams within Bosch as well as clients and subcontractors to, scope, plan and build highly complex projects using the latest technology from the best vendors, including Lenel, Genetec, Axis, Milestone and Avigilon. Tasked with managing every aspect, from start to finish, of our major projects for new construction, you are responsible for delivering high-quality project results. You will manage the project team as efficiently as possible while representing Bosch in a professional manner in line with our values of a leadership mindset, people development, team, and client focused.
Past experience managing large, multi-million-dollar projects will be a strong asset for this position. Stakeholder engagement across complex organizations and within Bosch will be an important part of this role as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage schedules for on-time delivery, monitor budgets to control costs and maintain financial health
- Develop and manage project plan: includes plans for client communication expectations, project resource requirements and availability, procurement and management of materials and reconciliation, project commissioning, development of risk management and mitigation strategies, scheduling to ensure efficiency, in-depth knowledge and understanding of stakeholder's expectations and requirements
- Provide accurate financial reports for performance targets to meet the desired profit margin
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships that lead to repeat business and business development opportunities
- Create documentation and ensure it clear, easy to follow, updated as per communication schedule, and accessible to all stakeholders
- Control costs and maximize productivity through the implementation of best practices and standard processes
- Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communications, both formal and informal
- Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
- Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a pool of resources; manage selection of subcontracts for projects, where required
- Proactively assess risks; ensure a safe and healthy work environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative role, project management, or technical experience all in an Infrastructure Installation, Structured Cabling or security system or a system integration environment
- Valad driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
- Associate’s degree (2 year) or bachelor's degree (4 year) in a technical capacity
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is beneficial but not required
- Professional Engineering designation is beneficial but not required
- BICSI certification / standards (strongly preferred)
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers
- Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment
- Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites
WORKING CONDITIONS: In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be required.

· Compensation: DOE
· Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary
Travel Requirements: Mostly local travel possible some overnight
