The Team:
The Project Management domain is responsible for implementing and delivering Murex solutions. We handle the clients just after the contractual agreements until the go-live of the product. The Project Manager is the owner of the Murex implementation project, leading the project team to successfully deliver the agreed-upon scope and services in accordance with Murex standards, while respecting project constraints and consolidating a strong, long-term client partnership.
What you’ll do:
- Drives the project team towards project objectives, while contributing to the development and long-term motivation of the project team members, in collaboration with their managers
- Communicates and reports project status, providing clear visibility and a common view to Murex management & project team (including integrators)
- Defines a project plan: estimate project effort, define high-level and detailed project plan, including staffing and logistics (Resource profile, governance, organization)
- Coordinates with client and integrators, ensures client/integrator readiness, and builds a partnership based on mutual respect and trust.
- Identifies project risks & issues and ensures mitigation
- Ensures project timeline is respected, within scope, budget, and quality expectations, and executes the change request process. Monitors associated KPIs.
- Adopts & promotes Murex project methodologies, tools, and best practices, aligning them with clients and integrators.
- Contributes to the definition and maintenance of Methodologies.
- Prepares and executes project closure and handover
- Capitalizes and provides lessons learnt
Who you are:
- Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience, ideally in driving the implementation of Treasury/Capital Markets software (preferred) or other banking software
- Experience delivering results on projects or programs in a vendor environment
- Self-motivated to move projects forward and ensure timely and on-budget delivery
- Experience in leading projects through their full life cycle while managing team members and change
- Experience working with stakeholders across business and IT functions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- PMI certification is a plus
Compensation for roles at Murex varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Murex provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York City as set forth below and information on benefits offered.
Salary Range: USD 130,000 to USD160,000
