Location: San Diego, CA at our wonderful G2 Ops office and customer site

Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, and/or flexible working hours, not a fully remote position

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 plus comprehensive benefits package

Years of Industry Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Where you make an impact: For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Project Manager. This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to managing cost, schedule, and performance on Navy and DoD programs. You will oversee contract execution, coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams, and serve as a primary liaison with government stakeholders.

What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in project management, such as:

• Experience with contract deliverables and reporting requirements (CDRLs, MSRs, EVM)
• Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance on government contracts
• Strong communication skills to lead cross-functional collaboration with technical teams and government customers
• Knowledge of Navy or DoD program acquisition, sustainment, or modernization processes
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS contracting requirements and government financial processes
• Experience managing subcontractors, staffing strategies, and onboarding processes
• Ability to coordinate across Contracts, Accounting, HR, Operations, and Security teams
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, AI tools)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or related field
• PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification (preferred)

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 and goes up to $115,000, based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. Due to the classification level of the projects we support as a Defense Contractor, we cannot offer fully remote opportunities at this time.

You will have a shiny desk at our G2 Ops office, plus the opportunity to work at a military site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!). We do allow teleworking with prior approval, but supporting the DoD, you will be required to work at a government site as well.

Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance and a PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification.
