This role is key to the effective deployment of the Portfolio Strategy, in line with the IBP framework. It involves the successful execution of product-related projects involving NPD, Value Engineering, Portfolio Simplification, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Optimisation, and Transformational projects.

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Support Portfolio Manager with relevant Program and Portfolio reporting, continuous improvement, training material, etc. Responsible for managing low - medium complexity projects end to end including:
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
  • Oversee project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions
  • Foster effective communication within the project team and across departments
  • Ensure quality standards are met and deliverables are on schedule
  • Ensure planning, readiness, and compliance to applicable project governance processes, such as Stage & Gate

About you:
  • Proven experience in the Food Industry (advantageous)
  • Formal project management training (advantageous)
  • Strong influencing, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
  • Experienced in change management and project management
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with strategic business focus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and balance tactical and strategic thinking
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g. Project Management, Commercial, Operations, R&D)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights
