What you will do
Asset+ (part of Johnson Controls) are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering building projects within a variety of environments. The successful candidate will need to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the installation of ASHP, Lighting and Solar PV within London and the home counties as part of a larger team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of building and renewable projects within NHS hospital settings, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Managing project delivery, including risk assessments, contractor management and day to day tasks.
Collaborate with contractors, and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and report this to the Senior Project Manager.
Preparing regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive experience as a Project Manager.
Strong knowledge of construction processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in construction projects.
Certification in relevant Health & Safety management SSTS, SMSTS or APM.
Knowledge of sustainable building practices and digital construction technologies.
