Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics, with around 3.000 employees. From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.

As a Project Manager in Valeo Martos you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, working in an international and multicultural environment.

Mission:

Ensure Project performance objectives (Quality, Cost- Profitability, Delivery-Timing) in compliance with Valeo and Customer expectations.

Your Responsibilities:

Customer Main Partner 

• Request analysis  (from RFQ to  and all changes)

• Coordinate communication within his team but also with P2/P1 projects associated

• Define internal activities (STD Tools) and agreed on timing (Level 1)

• Regular communication with customer (updated Progress) 

Operationally

• Budget : Prepare and submit CAA and IAR (Project/System level)  

• Cost estimation

• Define Offer Strategy

• Management Validation 

• Timing : Check and validate Project Team Members’ activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestones

• Project resources and control activities (Daily and weekly routines) 

• Prepare decision making process for relevant committee 

• Solve all project  issues requiring any type of support 

• Support - Resources Escalate at the right level and with relevant speed/anticipation the gaps versus targets 

• Tracking : Project KPI in terms of profitability Quality and Production Preparation

• Reporting to Management about Project Status/Progress  (PSC- PMC)

Professional Experience:

• Engineering/Master degree

• Personal skills to manage functional organization

• Financial skills about Product cost structure, pay back, …

• Product Development process knowledge and practice (5/7 years)

• Get successful development experience in Project development function (2/3 years)

• Experience in other development functions (Quality, Process, Sales, Purchasing), two at least
