Gigantic Playground, a leader in creating connected experiences and themed entertainment projects, seeks a Mid-Level Project Manager / Project Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing the lifecycle of our innovative projects, which blend software and hardware to create immersive experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating both the creative and logistical aspects of project management, ensuring that our unique projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee project delivery from conception to completion, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Supporting the delivery teams in managing project scope, schedule, and cost changes using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Help create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (encouraging team members to produce documentation).
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
Essential Skills
- Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Suite, and project management software (e.g., Jira, Click-Up, MS Project, or similar).
- SCRUM / PMP certifications are a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience in a related industry.
- Experience with agile methodologies and a keen understanding of the creative process involved in project development.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
