Summary:
Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.Duties & Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is accountable for the management of NPIs (Hardware, Software and Solutions) from project initiation, transitioning from engineering to volume production. As well of transfer products from one site to another, restart qualification to mass production.
The Project Manager shall be closely engaged with the operations functions of Contract Manufacturers (CM) or VIAVI manufacturing sites. This role will focus on Viavi’s industry leading communications test and measurement equipment.
The goal of the Project Manager is to ensure NPI’s and transfer’s are released into Operations that meet Customer and Business goals for the project, focusing on Schedule, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
