The Role

Are you passionate about leading and managing strategic projects that optimize the delivery of life-changing medicines? If so, we want you to be our Project Manager, Primary and Small Molecules (PSM).

This role is designed to lead strategic projects for PSM and support performance management for our network. The role reports to the Senior Director Network Operations PSM.

The role incumbent uses their strategic thinking and project management skills to support PSM success.

Key Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities as follows:

  • Manage strategic projects to execute on PSM’s strategy including leading project setup, planning, governance, reporting and execution of business and operational projects on schedule, within budget, with effective risk management

  • Lead analytics for effective performance management of the network and site strategy development

  • Support effective business review meetings for all sites in the network for holistic assessment of strategic, commercial and operational performance

  • Support building a strong culture of project management and governance

  • Support building strategic thinking mindset and culture of leveraging data-based decision making at PSM

Why you?

Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills 

  • Master's degree in any discipline with at least 5-7 years’ experience in strategy development or in consulting; supply chain strategy experience is a plus.

  • Strong business acumen with excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Project management skills; formal qualifications in project management (PMP) preferred

  • For internal candidates, understanding of GSK project management guidelines and DIA/SPADM

  • Understanding of the pharma industry / supply chain experience is a plus but not mandatory

  • Collaborative, ability to influence and engage all levels of stakeholders in the business in a cross-functional/matrixed/remote setup

  • High learning agility; proactive, resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Culturally sensitive and ability to work effectively across cultures

  • Strong communicator, proactive, resourceful with good attention to detail

  • Ability to travel as needed
