The Role

Salary: $55K plus $3 bonus.

Job Summary:

The Commercial Flooring Project Manager's job is to ensure complete customer satisfaction for the installation and a profit for the company. This position is responsible for the coordination of installations for sold projects. This position accepts a sold job from the sales team and interfaces with numerous people but primarily the Service Provider that will perform the work, the customer experiencing the installation, and Crew2 sales consultants.

Responsibilities:  

1. Function as the primary resource and central point of contact for flooring installations for assigned projects, customers, service providers and Crew2 sales consultants, managing all assigned jobs in progress daily.

2. Receive a calendar of service provider availability and offer jobs to meet customer schedules.

3. Schedule customers for delivery and inspection of products ordered.

4. Review job profitability and work to reduce cycle time

5. Confirm negotiated pricing, approve and file service provider invoices. 

6. Process service provider onboarding or renewal paperwork as needed for compliance as assigned.

7. Ensure completeness and accuracy of all paperwork.

8. Coordinate job visits or inspects with the Quality Manager and join on site when applicable.

9. Confirm with service providers that all permits are posted on site.

10. Update all appropriate systems with notes.

11. Coordinate with flooring or countertop group if the project includes multiple product lines.

12. Coordinate the change order process when needed.

13. Handle all escalations to full resolution.

14. Support the delivery and procurement of materials when needed.

Requirements        

1. Strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills

2. Effective oral and written communication skills

3. Ability to manage multiple projects

4. Strong problem resolution skills

5. Customer focused team player

6. Experience in MS Word & Excel

7. Construction industry knowledge and ability to read and understand kitchen designs a plus
